1. Essential privacy-choice storage
ewb_consent_exceptional_web_brands stores your EWB privacy selection, policy version and expiry so the site can remember and honour your decision. It can be retained for up to 180 days.
2. Optional EWB identifiers
If at least one optional EWB purpose is enabled, the browser client may create ewb_vid_exceptional_web_brands and ewb_sid_exceptional_web_brands. These are scoped to ExceptionalWebBrands.com rather than being a cross-site behavioural identifier. They are removed when all optional purposes are switched off.
3. Analytics and advertising choices
Analytics, Advertising measurement and Personalisation are separate optional choices. The public company site does not need personalised advertising in order to operate.
4. Newsletter
Newsletter consent is not a cookie consent purpose. Submitting your email address to the newsletter form records a separate marketing choice in the EWB database.
5. Change your choice
Use Privacy choices at any time. Clearing your browser site data will also remove locally stored EWB choices and identifiers.
